Cookie Policy
What cookies we use, what they do and how to manage them.
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They remember your actions and preferences (language, sign-in) so you do not have to reconfigure them each visit.
2.Cookies we use
USDX uses only strictly necessary cookies:
- sb-<ref>-auth-token (Supabase): keeps you signed in. May be split into several numbered cookies (.0, .1) when the token is long. Duration: until sign-out.
- NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose, among those available on the platform. Duration: 1 year.
- usdx_active_merchant: remembers your active merchant if you belong to several. Duration: session.
- usdx_m3, usdx_m3_merchant: enable interface variants in the admin and merchant panels. Duration: session.
3.Third-party cookies
When you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies under its Privacy Policy.
We do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
4.Cookieless analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used. It is configured NOT to use cookies: the identifier is stored in your browser local storage.
- What it records: pages visited, performance metrics (Core Web Vitals) and explicit product events, such as account creation or opening an order.
- What it does NOT record: automatic click and keystroke capture is disabled, and session recording is off unless we deliberately enable it to debug a specific issue.
- Profiles: a person profile is created only for identified users; anonymous browsing stays aggregated.
To opt out, enable the "Do Not Track" signal in your browser — we honor it — or clear the site local storage.
5.Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies from your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in.
6.Policy changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. Updates are published on this page with the date indicated.
